(GRASSTOPSUSA) — Obama’s mandate requiring Catholic institutions to provide contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs to employees, through their insurers, has been widely condemned as an assault on religious freedom.

What’s overlooked is the connection between the contraceptive diktat and population control spurred by the president’s anti-global-warming crusade. Obama is a radical environmentalist who has embraced the dogma of man-made global warming. While climate-change alarmists rail at energy companies and consumerism, their real target is people – especially those who are having children.

According to this mindset, people are the ultimate pollutant. Humanity is in the midst of a population explosion which is driving us to ecological doom. More people means more energy use and the release of more greenhouse gases – causing the earth to warm, ice caps to melt and sea-levels to rise. Soon, polar bears in Hawaiian shirts will surf by Al Gore’s oceanfront property in Tennessee.
