(NYDAILYNEWS) — Justin Bieber made a little Massachusetts girl with cancer the envy of millions by flying her to New York for a pre-Valentine’s Day date.

Six-year-old Avalanna Routh even got to run her fingers through his famous hair.

“I got Bieber fever,” she told NBC News later.

Bieber appeared pleased that he could give a little girl who has been in and out of hospitals most of her life a few hours of pure joy.

“That was one of the best things I have ever done,” he tweeted to his 17 million followers. “She was AWESOME. Feeling really inspired right now.”
