(DAILYMAIL) — A bus driver has been praised for her quick thinking after rushing a group of schoolchildren off her vehicle moments before it burst into flames.

Lindora Richardson was taking the youngsters home from their North Carolina school when she noticed a ‘burning smell’ and pulled over to check it out.

As she did so, smoke began pouring out from under the dash.
